All Souls Unitarian church is hosting a training for faith communities interested in standing with our friends and neighbors facing detention and deportation for their race, religion, or immigration status.
Congregations across the country are connecting to the sanctuary network to protect and support the vulnerable in our communities. This training will provide information on a board arc of participation in the sanctuary movement, from providing support and connecting to other congregations to holding Know Your Rights workshops to organizing a rapid response system and hosting families. Join other clergy and lay leaders to learn more about the sanctuary movement and the many ways that we can stand up to hate.
The training will be held on Tuesday, January 31 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at All Souls Church, 1500 Harvard St NW, Washington, DC 20009. Dinner will be provided. Please click here to register. Contact: Kate Brittain
